As I noted in my resolutions yesterday, I’d really like to tackle a photo a day project this year. And, while I’m at it, why not two of them? I decided to do one that was personal and self-directed, and one that was guided.
For my guided project, I am following along with fat mum slim’s Photo A Day Challenge. You can find her post about it here, and you can follow my project over at my tumblr page. For this project, I’m going to exclusively use my android phone’s various photo apps. I think it will make it easier, and keep it light-hearted.
If you want to participate, too, here is the month of January to get you started. I’m a strong believer in late starts, so don’t panic if you are a day late!
For my self-directed project, I just set up a flickr gallery. My husband said he will help me make a short slideshow of my photos as an end of the year re-cap. I’m really excited about that, so hopefully it will help me to stay motivated. For this project, I’m going to use whatever camera is on hand. I’m hoping these pictures will be more representative of the day, so that I can really look back at my year when I am done.
Are you doing any photo projects? I’d love to hear about them!
Happy snapping!
